Welcome back Disney·Pixar Cars fans! Tonight I'm back with another quick Cars 3 Mattel 1:55 scale diecast review. Released last March, here we have Richie Gunzit—the "next-gen" Gasprin racer (No. 70)! He was released as part of the 2019 "Next-Gen Piston Cup Racers" sub-series (Case E).
Richie can be seen racing in several shots in the film, but the screen cap I snagged above is from the film's final Florida 500 race.
FUN FACT: Richie Gunzit is named after Pixar animator, Richard Gunzer.
Mattel did another great job here as always. Amazing attention to detail! If you still need to add this one to your collection, Richie can still be found on the pegs pretty easily; so be sure to check your local Walmart or Target for availability.
