In today's post we're taking a look at the Mattel 1:55 scale diecast of Floyd Mulvihill, better known by his sponsor Gasprin (No. 70). This character has been released a couple of times over the years, but this particular release is from the 2014 "Piston Cup" sub-series (#8/16) and is in a 2-pack featuring another racer, Sputter Stop, who I already have in a single pack (see my recent review HERE).
As shown in the screenshot above, Gasprin is briefly seen in the film's opening Motor Speedway of the South race. He is one of the 36 race cars competing for the Piston Cup.
While Gasprin isn't available in stores currently as part of this year's line up, you can find him easily online at either Amazon or eBay (among others). Have fun on the hunt if you're still looking to add this one to your Cars collection!
