Finding Nemo: Bruce the Shark Men's Tee (Disney Parks)

"Heeeerrrreee's Brucie!!" Now sold exclusively at Disney Parks, here we have this fierce Finding Nemo inspired men's tee featuring the face of everyone's favorite Australian great white shark, Bruce! I picked this up during our most recent Walt Disney World vacation back in April.

You can find this there in Epcot (at Mouse Gear or the SeaBase Gift Shop) or in Animal Kingdom (at Island Mercantile or the merchandise cart near Finding Nemo: The Musical). If I'm not mistaken, I believe at saw it at the Disney Springs World of Disney store as well.

Note: I'm assuming this is also available in Disneyland/California Adventure, though I'm not sure. Let me know in the comments if and where you've seen it there!

There is also a kid's version of this same fun design, so be sure to pick that up too if you're looking to match with one of your little guys. Whether this shirt is for your next Disney vacation or just to have as a fun summer tee, if you love Finding Nemo, then this might be for you!

Finding Dory: Girls "Cuddle Party" Summer Sleep Set

Who can resist a cuddle party? And especially one with cute baby otters? Exactly. That's why my wife Brita and I just had to get this "ott-orable" girls Finding Dory summer sleep set for one of our future little ones (hey- no shame in planning ahead, right?). This is sold exclusively at the Disney Store and is currently on sale for just $7.99!

We love this scene in the film and it couldn't be represented any cuter here on these PJs. The otter screen art, the cool color scheme and the cozy cotton short bottoms/short sleeves make this the perfect summertime sleepwear for any little fan of Finding Dory. You can pick this up in sizes 2-10.

Finding Dory: Swimming Bath Toys Collection (From Bandai)

Ready for some more fun in the tub? From Bandai, here we have their fantastic collection of four swimming Finding Dory bath toys featuring Dory, Nemo, Bailey and Hank!

These simple plastic "wind-up" swimming fish are about four to five inches in length and work without any batteries. Just pull back on the string, place in the water and watch them take off- each with a unique swimming movement! They're ideal for the bath or the pool and are recommended for kids ages 18 months+.

For the most part, these work pretty well. Since they're intended for very young kids, I can't really have any complaints (though if anything, I would have liked to see the swimming action last longer than just five seconds). Some swim better than others (with my experience, Hank is the weakest swimmer), but all in all they seem nicely made and do what they're suppose to do.

Note: These aren't suppose to swim perfectly or realistically. If you're expecting these to move like, say, RoboFish, you'll probably be disappointed. Again, these are very basic wind-up style toys. You can see them in action on YouTube HERE so you can see exactly what you're in for (unfortunately, I haven't had time yet to film my own video).

I took these out to the pool today to test them out with some of my nieces and nephews and, once again, they had so much fun. They were an absolute hit! I can honestly recommend these and think your little Finding Nemo/Dory fans will have a blast with them during bath time.

Monsters Inc: Mike Wazowski Bouncy Ball

"I was the fastest one out there. Course, I was the ball. You see, I...was the ball." -Mike Wazowski, Monsters Inc. 

Currently sold exclusively at the Disney Store, here we have their [relatively] new Monsters Inc. Mike Wazowski bouncy ball! This bright green "super bounce" ball measures about 8.5 cm in diameter (fits perfect in the palm of your hand) and retails for $5.95. Kids will have a screamingly good time! 

I grabbed this today in the "souvenir" section (that's what Disney calls its smaller, less expensive items) of the Disney Store (right by the checkout, or in Disney terms, the "box office"). It's not currently available online though, so dropping by your local store is your best bet if you're looking to grab this. I couldn't resist, given that Mike Wazowski is one of my all time favorite Pixar characters!

Finding Dory: Mr. Ray's Dive & Catch Game

Summer is [sadly] quickly coming to an end! So we've been trying to get in as much fun in the sun and pool time as possible over here. In preparation for today's post, I finally busted out and opened my Finding Dory Dive & Catch Game during today's swim. This is the third and final (following the Pool Shooter Hank and Dive Characters 3-Pack) Dory water toy that I picked up from the company Swimways.

Like the Dive Characters pack, this is another fun set of sinking water figures for kids to dive for and retrieve in the pool (they make good bath toys too). This time we have a net in the likeness of Nemo's school teacher Mr. Ray and five characters as seen in his class: Dory, Nemo, Sheldon, Pearl and Kathy. Help Mr. Ray scoop them all up!

Mr. Ray and Sheldon are made of a hard plastic, while all the other characters feel a bit softer. I love their adorable stylized look!

One of the main reasons I had to pick this set up was to get Kathy. Kathy is the hilarious bucktooth fish in Mr. Ray's class who says [in Finding Nemo] "Oh my gosh!! Nemo's swimming out to SEA!" She also has a line or two in Finding Dory as well.

I believe this is the first (and only) toy representation of her ever made, so she was a must have for me.

Disney·Pixar Luxo Jr. Concept Art Men's Tee (From Uniqlo)

Now available at Uniqlo, here we have this super fantastic Disney·Pixar Luxo Jr. men's tee as part of their new "PixART" collection! This shirt features original John Lasseter 1986 concept art of the [now] famed Luxo lamp and ball. From the website: Inspired by Pixar Animation Studios creative development process, PixART features the behind-the-scenes artwork that is used to bring your favorite films to life.

This shirt puts the "unique" in Uniqlo. I haven't seen anything out there like it! For a Pixar diehard such as myself, it took only a matter of about five seconds to see this and buy it. There was no question, especially since I've been looking out for a cool Luxo Jr. tee for some time now.

Here's a closer look at the little Luxo Jr. and ball patch on the sleeve (nice touch)...

And this Disney·Pixar logo is on the back near the neck line.

Finding Dory: The Unforgettable Joke Book & Mad Libs

For those dedicated readers keeping track, yes I unfortunately missed getting to my post yesterday! I was gone all day and just couldn't get to it. To make up for the loss, today I'm taking a look at not one, but two fun Disney·Pixar Finding Dory publications... "The Unforgettable Joke Book" and Mad Libs!

The joke book is 80 pages in length and features over 100 jokes based on moments and characters from the film (plus really cute black and while illustrations). It's divided into three categories: traditional style jokes, limericks (humorous poems) and knock-knock jokes. Most of them are very corny with lots of cheesy puns, but there are some genuinely funny ones as well. When it comes down to it though, these jokes are geared towards kids; and I'm sure they will find just about all of them hilarious!

To give you a better sense of what's inside, here's a little peek at some of the pages-

Next, who doesn't love Mad Libs? Mad Libs is a tremendously funny word game for ages 8 and up, perfect for passing the time on road trips or just for fun. I've been getting them since I was a kid (I have vivid memories of my friends and I cracking ourselves up) and I thought it would be fun to get a Finding Dory version. It's simple, timeless fun!

Inside Out: "Rainbow of Emotion" Jelly Beans

From Jelly Belly Candy Co. comes this really cute Disney·Pixar Inside Out inspired boxed set of five jelly bean flavors! This "Rainbow of Emotion Mix" includes Joy's "Happy Days" (lemon), Sadness's "Feeling Blue" (berry blue), Anger's "On Fire" (sizzling cinnamon), Disgust's "Whatever!" (sour apple) and Fear's "Be Afraid" (grape soda). A sixth flavor, Bing Bong's cotton candy, seems like it would have been a given; but alas.

A big thanks to my mother in-law who sent this over to me as a surprise little treat! You can find these at random candy shops or online via Groovy Candies, Amazon (direct link below), etc.

The candies themselves have some sort of sheen (almost glittery) coating, which gives them a different look when compared to standard jelly beans.

Finding Dory: 2016 Disneyland Paris Cast Member Pin

For today's post, I wanted to give a huge thanks and shout out to my friend Fabien (of PixarPlanet.fr) for sending me a box full of Disney·Pixar goodies all the way from Disneyland Paris! This was an extremely thoughtful gesture and I appreciate it a ton. If you haven't already, be sure to visit his site for some really great content.

I believe these are the very first items I've ever acquired from Disneyland Paris (or quite possibly France in general). The main thing I'm featuring here (since it's Pixar related of course) is the fantastic 2016 commemorative Finding Dory Cast Member exclusive pin seen in detail above. How cool right? 

I was also gifted a very awesome Disneyland Paris keychain and an adorable Mickey Mouse/Eiffel Tower statue. These will all be displayed proudly! :)
