Incredibles 2: Complete Tsum Tsum Collection

Incredibles 2 Complete Tsum Tsum Collection

After a very confusing launch, the Incredibles 2 Tsum Tsum collection is finally here! Well, for many it is. I'll explain. The original US street date (which, confusingly enough, wasn't even officially announced —I just know because I work at the Disney Store) for these guys was Tuesday, June 5th. Many Disney Stores nationwide put them out on store shelves then, even though the release date was actually changed to Monday, June 11th on short notice. Some communications from headquarters even stated Friday, June 8th was the day. THEN on Wednesday, June 6th, they suddenly became available on ShopDisney.com despite all the other dates we were given!

So in the end, some stores put them out on the original date of the 5th, some on the 6th (online release day), some (our store being one of them) on the 8th and some are still waiting for the 11th. PHEW! I guess what I'm trying to say is, be sure to call your local Disney Store before going to snag these to make sure they're there. ;)

With all that out of they way, here are my thoughts on this fantastic collection. I've been waiting for The Incredibles to be represented in Tsum form for a long time and they're just what I pictured! I'm so thrilled they're finally added to my collection. In this lineup we're treated to seven individually released characters (Dash, Jack-Jack, Monster Jack-Jack, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet and Frozone) AND an Edna Mode 3-Pack boxed set! What a cool release overall.

These plushies are part of the Tsum Tsum "mini" collection and are the standard 3 1/3" size. Like usual, they're soft with super great use of different fabrics/materials—each one with detailed embroidered features. They retail for $5.95.

Take a closer look at each one below!

My favorite Tsum Tsums always have some kind of unique extra detail—like for example the Jack-Jack one is especially cute because of it's his little patch of hair and his little onesie buttoned butt flap. Other standouts for me include Frozone, Monster Jack-Jack (even though I think he should be a little less red and a little more purple; the diaper detail is funny though) and Mr. Incredible (I like his little hair swirl). One thing I do feel was a missed opportunity is that none of them have the Incredibles logo embroidered on their undersides.

Note: There was one previously released Jack-Jack Tsum (a Japan exclusive), which was available last August as part of the Japanese Disney Store 25th Anniversary set. Having now gotten this standard Jack-Jack release, I personally don't feel the need to track down that exclusive. I wanted to still give you all a heads up on it though.

Moving onto the Edna Mode 3-Pack! Each Edna has a different outfit and a slightly different facial expression. You'll notice the black and pink one is her original outfit from the first film and then there's two inspired by Incredibles 2: Edna in her red kimono and Edna in her blue dress. The box is also awesome as it features some of that iconic Eric Tan art! Take a detailed look at everything below. Retail for this set is $14.95.

Well that's it everyone! Be sure to pick these up at your local Disney Store before they're gone (again, make sure to call ahead to make sure they're there). Some of them are already sold out online (see who's still available on the ShopDisney site HERE), so they're proving to be pretty popular already. The Edna Mode set can be purchased in stores as well or online HERE.
