Last week, I posted a full write-up about the 2013 release of Holley Shiftwell with screen (seen HERE). Well, a new 2014 version of Holley with screen, with just some minor changes, has just hit stores! I was lucky enough to find it at my local Walmart just a few days ago.
This Mattel 1:55 scale diecast release is part of of this year's "Allinol Blowout" sub-line.
The main difference between this version and last year's release is the image on her "screen." The image on the screen on the 2013 release was of Miles Axlerod's engine, while the image here is of Acer and Grem with the magnetic pulse camera (during the Porto Corsa, Italy WGP race, screen shot from that moment above).
Like last year's release, the screen is a translucent plastic (to represent the computer screen being a "hologram") and is non-removable.
Another, more subtle difference, is that Holley's facial expression has changed this time around. The 2013 version's expression was much more neutral, while her expression here (with her eyes and mouth) is much more concerned.
You should have a pretty easy time finding this new version in stores, as she has only just been released (in Case E, if you follow the case assortments) within this last month. If you'd rather just save time and pick this one up online, you can find her on Amazon or eBay using the link below:
