Incredibles 2: Jumping Incredibile Toy Review
In honor of Incredibles 2 returning to theaters during this Labor Day weekend, today I'm taking a look at a continuation of the Jakks Pacific 4" action figure line (which I reviewed a little while back HERE) with this amazing Jumping Incredibile vehicle! This is a super fun toy and a great addition to the line.
It was awesome to see Mr. Incredible's iconic Incredibile car back for Incredibles 2 and I'm thrilled to have it in toy form after all these years! I never got one back in the original 2004 figure line, so this was a long time coming. This new incarnation of the car measures 12" long x 5" wide x 3.5" tall (7" tall when popped up) and retails $24.99.
This one is not battery operated, hence no lights, sounds or remote control features; so if you're looking for something like that, check out the Disney Store's RC Incredible HERE (I think Jakks Toys has one coming out soon as well, so stay tuned for that). This one does have a real neat "jumping" action feature, however! More on that below, but first check out the car in its colorful packaging.
Here it is out of the box. Push the vehicle down to lock the spring loaded hydraulics in place, then push the car to activate the pop-up "jump" feature (which will happen once it starts rolling for a few moments)! It works really well and is loads of fun. I played with this with my five year old nephew and he could not get enough.
The roof is removable and the car can fit two 4" figures.
If you or your little one is a collector of Incredibles 2 toys (especially the 4" figure assortment), then you'll certainly want to pick this up. You can't really go wrong! It's just simple fun, adding some much needed action to your action figure line.
This car was released in the initial wave of Incredibles 2 toys back in the early spring, but it can still be found easily at either Walmart or Target. If you'd rather just pick it up online, I've included an Amazon link down below (seems to be on a pretty good sale right now). Lastly, a big thank you to Jakks Pacific for sending this over to me—it without a doubt gets two thumbs!
