Happy one month until Finding Dory hits theaters! To celebrate the film's quickly approaching release, I took a drive this afternoon to my closest Disney Store to pick up the brand new Finding Dory Tsum Tsum plush collection- available as of today!
If you're unfamiliar with these, you might be asking yourself, what on earth is a "Tsum Tsum"? These little guys were first introduced in Japan in 2013 to coincide with the release of the Japanese Disney mobile app game of the same name. Ultimately, they're just stylized, stackable, bean bag plush based on popular Disney characters...but boy are they adorable! In the summer of 2014, they made they're way to the U.S. (along with the mobile game) and are available primarily at Disney Stores (Target and Walmart stores began getting select characters recently as well). "Tsum Tsum" (pronounced "Soom Soom") literally means "Stack Stack" in Japanese.
Now, new Tsum Tsums are released twice a month (every other Tuesday) and are available in a variety of different sizes.
These plushies are part of the Tsum Tsum "mini" collection and are only about 3 1/3" in size. In this assortment, there are nine characters total (a nice mix of new and familiar): Nemo, a Sea Otter, Mr. Ray, Crush, Marlin, Bailey (a Beluga Whale), Destiny (a Whale Shark), Hank (an Octopus), and, of course, Dory herself. Let's take a closer look at each one!

From Dory's little Marine Life Institute tag, to Nemo's "lucky fin", to Marlin's wrinkles under his eyes... I love all the subtle details of each one! These are a must have for any fan of the Nemo franchise. Which ones are your favorite designs?
You can pick these up at your local Disney Store today or visit their website HERE to purchase. Retail is $5.95 each. NOTE: Larger size Tsum Tsums of Dory and Nemo are also available.
