Inside Out: Funko Mystery Minis (+Hot Topic Exclusives)

New from Funko, here we have the recently released Disney·Pixar Inside Out "Mystery Minis" collection! Here's the scoop- the standard case of these includes 12 blind box mini vinyl figures:

• Joy (arms out) 
• Joy (holding memory)
• Sadness (regular)
• Sadness (laying down)
• Disgust (arm out)
• Disgust (arms folded)
• Anger (regular)
• Anger (with flames)
• Fear 
• Rainbow Unicorn 
• Bing Bong (holding hat)
• Bing Bong (crying candy)

Now, Hot Topic stores have also released their own exclusive case of the mystery minis (the one seen here). This set is almost identical to the standard release, but it replaces Bing Bong (crying candy), Anger (regular) and Disgust (arms folded) with three very cool Hot Topic exclusive figures:

• Subconscious Guard Dave 
• Subconscious Guard Frank 
• Joy (riding Bing Bong's wagon)  

Earlier this month, I had been calling my local Hot Topic stores to see if they had this case in stock yet. Time after time I had no luck. Then one fateful day a couple weeks back, I just happened to stop by the mall hoping they (by chance) had them in stock. Lucky for me, they had literally just put a full case out and it hadn't been picked over yet! I was super thrilled and went ahead and bought the whole thing (since I was guaranteed to get all 12) and they even gave me the display box as well.

Then, of course being the completist I am, I tracked down the three standard releases (that weren't featured in this case) on eBay. Now I can proudly say this collection is complete!

Lets take a look at each of the figures in more detail-

Standard Releases 

 Hot Topic Exclusives:

These are some very cool stylized figures. Some of my favorites include Joy in the wagon, Bing Bong crying candy and Anger with the flames...but who am I kidding, I love them all! They stand at about 2 1/2 inches tall and sell for $8.50 each. Again, these are blind box figures (like Vinylmation) so you won't know who you get until you open it up.

You can purchase the standard Mystery Minis on multiple sites online. They're not too hard to track down (I've included some Amazon links below; that's a good place to start). As far as the Hot Topic case, head to your local store to see if they have a case in stock or visit their site HERE to purchase (currently on sale!).
