Cars: Star Wars Weekends 2015 Pixar Cars (Part 1)

If you know anything about me, you know that I'm not only a huge Pixar fan and collector, but also a big time Star Wars fan and collector as well. When the Disney theme parks created a line of Cars characters mashed up with Star Wars characters in 2013 (as part of Star Wars weekends that year), I was sold. I knew buying them would be inevitable for me, but it took a little time.

During the 2014 Star Wars Weekends, a wave 2 of characters was released. At that point, I really knew it was time to start snagging these things. Ultimately, I ended up receiving both waves for my birthday last year (see my post on wave 1 HERE and wave 2 HERE) as well as the limited edition Tractors as Sandtroopers 2-pack (seen HERE). Well, that tradition has continued this year as I have just received the third and final wave from Star Wars Weekends 2015! A huge thanks to my parents who were able to get them just in time for my birthday last month. I don't know how they do it!

Lets take a closer look at these four great new characters...

Sarge as The Emperor (with Cone Droid, a parody of Death Star Mouse Droids seen in the film)

And here's a look at the back of the package (the same for each of the four cars):

These are all 1:55 scale diecast cars, but are not actually made by Mattel. They do fit perfectly with Mattel ones though, you wouldn't even know the difference. Also, since this is Disney Theme Park merchandise, they are quite a bit more pricey than standard Mattel cars (as expected). These each retail for $9.95.

You can pick these up on eBay right HERE, at Hollywood Studios in Orlando or by calling the Disney World Merchandise Guest Services/Mail Order Hotline at 877-560-6477. If you call that number, they will charge you the "in parks price" and you will only have to pay shipping. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

There we have Star Wars Pixar cars collection is complete. But WAIT! There's even more. Be sure to visit right here over the next couple days to check out that last few items just released from this collection. It's not over yet! Stay tuned.
