Events: Disney Cruise 2015 (Part 6)

Part 1 HERE, Part 2 HERE, Part 3 HERE, Part 4 HERE and Part 5 HERE.

Day six of our Disney Fantasy cruise started early in the morning with festive gingerbread house making at the Animator's Palate. They provided all the pieces/candy/frosting and instructed how to assemble the house- it was fun!

Ours came out pretty good if I do say so myself!

This day was a bit cloudier than the other days at sea, but it was still warm enough to have some fun outside on the deck. After breakfast, walking around the ship's spa (just to check it out) and chilling in our room for a bit, we caught some Toy Story 2 by the pool and played a game of of nine hole mini golf (deck 13, back of ship) with some of my family!

Obligatory hole in one shot- we both got one!

The course is really well done with lots of fun, colorful "Disneyesque" obstacles. It's a must do while on the Fantasy! A perfect family activity.

Around the corner, and also part of "Goofy's Sports Deck" (deck 13), is a basketball court and an indoor area with virtual sports simulators. There's plenty to do to get your exercise while on board!

Note: See my full write up on the Cars "Surfs Up Fillmore" tee that I'm wearing HERE.

After golf (kudos to my dad for the win), I took our nephew Noah to the "AquaLab" (located on Deck 12- it's another splash area for young kids) and then went on the AquaDuck coaster a couple times! I went with our nephew Taylor and Brita took our niece Kami.

Lunchtime! We hit up the Cabanas buffet for lunch, but then I heard that they were having a pulled pork sandwhich special over at Flo's cafe...so I ate there too! No shame.

Our stateroom was calling our names after lunch, so we decided to go take it easy there for a while. We thought we'd take advantage of the included "On Demand" there in the room (which includes a bunch of Disney live action and animated films, just about every Pixar and Marvel film and even some Touchstone).

In honor of my good friend Steve C. (of Media Meltdown Mousecast- who's a big fan of the movie), we decided to watch Who Framed Rodger Rabbit- which I had never seen before ever! Yup, it's true.

Dinner was at the Royal Court again, so we headed there for "semi formal night" at our scheduled 5:45 time. See my full post on the Cars Lightning Mcqueen Hawaiian shirt that I'm wearing HERE.

There was lots of activity going on around the ship (everyone seemed out and about), so we walked around as well- taking pics and going in and out of the various gift shops again.

Below you can see my sneaky pic with Mickey. The line was gigantic, so this is what I settled for. Look closely and you'll see him!

Here's Shutters, the on board photography shop. There you can view all the photos that the ship's professional photographers take of you during the trip. They print them out and place them all in your designated album (organized by stateroom) throughout the week. It's a pretty cool system they have there! Of course, however, it's very expensive to buy the prints.

The ship's main show of the night was Disney's Believe. It's pretty cute! A lot of it is extremely cheesy (geared towards tweens), but a lot of it is really fun once you get to all the big musical numbers featuring your favorite classic Disney songs.

We were up pretty late after the show playing games with my family. I then walked around the ship for a bit since it was kind of nice going around and seeing all the details without anyone around! I snapped some shots of some of the main areas below.

This is what our room looked like every night when we came in. Man, do I miss that! The bed made, the classic pillow chocolates, a Disney Navigator schedule for the next day and a towel animal (which was different each night)...they really treat us like royalty there!

All good things must come to an end, but we still have one more full day to go through here before it does! Stay tuned right here tomorrow for the seventh, and last, part of our Very Merrytime Disney Cruise vacation.

Thanks for dropping by!
