Remember Vinylmation? They were some of my favorite things to collect from 2011 until they were pretty much discontinued around 2017. I have over 100 Pixar Vinylmation and well over 100 Star Wars Vinylmation, so you can see that I was (and still am) a big fan and was bummed when the craze ended! For years now, I've never had a good way to display my Vinylmation collection—in fact, no way at all. They've literally just been stored in a bin in my attic waiting for me to find the perfect way to display them. Well a few weeks ago, I finally did! I am SO excited and thrilled to share this find with you. Vinylmation are designed with collectors in mind and are made to be displayed; now they can finally fulfill their purpose.
I was at Michael's Crafts a few weeks back and happened to spot this shot glass display case while I was looking for something else. It caught my eye and I knew immediately that it would be just perfect for Vinylmation! I was right. The case itself is 18" x 16.5", has 28 openings (each little cubby measures 2" wide x 3.5" tall and 2" deep) and retails for $65. One of the coolest aspects is that it has a hinged glass front/door to help keep the dust out! You can display this black case on a wall or on a tabletop.
