Toy Story 4: "Minis" Ultimate New Friends 10-Pack

I'm back with some more Mattel Toy Story "Minis"! This time around I'm finally getting to the wonderful collection of Toy Story 4 characters from last year starting with this "Ultimate New Friends 10-Pack". If you're unfamiliar with Mattel's "Minis", let me share a little more about them. The first Toy Story "Minis" (Series 1 blind bags, vehicles, playsets and a 10-pack) were introduced/released back in 2016 and, ended up being so popular, that they continued on up through Series 5 in 2018. Last year around this time, after a bit of a hiatus, the "Minis" made a comeback in a new Toy Story 4 centric collection—which ended up having three series of its own throughout 2019 featuring previously released characters and new ones from Toy Story 4. 

I'll be posting on Series 1 and the rest of the Toy Story 4 blind bags soon, but I wanted to begin here with this 10-Pack (which I consider a starter set). All of these same characters except for two (Tinny and Bo's sheep) were also released in the blind bags as well, so I purchased this 10-Pack first and then filled in the gaps (figuring why not start here and get all the same characters plus the exclusives while I'm at it?). It just makes sense, it would be silly for me to start the other way around.

This pack includes:

• Woody (based on the original minis Woody sculpt, but with a new face; this one was also included in the Toy Story 4 blind bags Series 2)
• Buzz Lightyear (based on the original minis Buzz Lightyear sculpt, but with a new face; this is also a different face from the Toy Story 4 blind bag Series 1 version which also uses the same sculpt/pose)
• Bo Peep
• Bo Peep's sheep (Billy, Goat and Gruff)
• Ducky
• Bunny
• Gabby Gabby
• Duke Caboom
• Benson
• Tinny

Up until this year, the sheep were only available in this set (they're just now being released in a new wave of blind bags) and Tinny remains an exclusive "First Look" here. Retail price is $29.99 and can still be found at Target or Amazon using the link below (currently on sale :). Each character is adorably stylized and stands at about 1.5" tall.
