Pixar Collection: Dan the Pixar Fan Logo Wood Print

Just a few weeks back, my brother Rob (of Herofied Art) created me my first official blog logo (see full post HERE if you missed the write-up). On Christmas Eve, he completely took me by surprise by hooking me up with a full color wood print of it to display amongst my collection!

In regards to his art/Etsy shop, Rob is known for his use of unique printing materials (including metal, canvas, wood and acrylic) and he couldn't help but picture how great this logo would look on wood...

Boy was he right. This looks absolutely fantastic!

The wood is a sturdy, premium Canadian Maple, measures 6" X 6" X 1/2" and is signed and dated on the back. It can be displayed standing upright as seen here or by hanging flat against the wall. Here is Rob's official description of his wood products:

"These truly unique prints have to be seen and felt to be believed. They exude a vibe that feels both vintage and modern all at once. It is always intriguing and exciting to see how each of my images look on wood - colors mellow and warm tones really make themselves at home. Each WOOD print is made using the highest quality materials and processes. Every piece of wood is hand selected then specially sealed before printing. Next, fade resistant UV inks are used to print the image directly onto the board. Each board is then coated with a special UV finish to seal the image and provide further protection against fading."

I'm so incredibly thrilled to have this as part of my collection! It's technically now my most rare piece, since it is one of only one made ;)

A HUGE thanks to Rob for giving me this amazing, thoughtful surprise and for all the work that went into it. It will be treasured and displayed proudly!
