Hi Cars fans! It's late here, but I wanted to squeeze in a quick Mattel 1:55 scale diecast review for ya'll. Tonight I'm taking a look at Biz Torqsen from Cars 3, the first "Super Chase" of the year (released officially back in March) as part of the 2019 "Scavenger Hunt" sub-series! As a reminder, a Super Chase release means that there were no more than 4,000 units produced total; as such, any Super Chase diecast is extremely hard to come by (especially in stores). For the first time in forever though, I was actually lucky enough to find this one in the wild not too long ago at Target! I was thrilled.
Biz is a female RSN reporter seen in Cars 3 who you can spot multiple times (she even has a line); she's the one who says "Not even about Cal Weathers retiring?"after the Heartland Motor Speeday race. Later in the film, when McQueen arrives at the Rust-eze Racing Center, Biz is seen in a few shots (like the one above).
Since this one is very rare, the chances are slim that you'll find Biz on the pegs anywhere easily at this point. I'd recommend saving yourself the hassle and snagging her online! She's only $11 on Amazon right now (eligible for Prime I might add), which is an extremely good price for a Super Chase.
