To infinity...and beyond! If you're much of a fan/collector of Disney and Pixar merchandise, you probably know the company Loungefly by now (or at least have seen their products unknowingly). If not, here's the rundown: Loungefly is a premiere contemporary accessory company (owned by Funko), maker of pop-culture focused, officially licensed backpacks, handbags, wallets, pins and so much more. Their Disney items are the real standouts, but the also have products related to Hello Kitty, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pokemon and the like. One of their coolest bags ever, released earlier this year, is this Toy Story Buzz Lightyear inspired backpack! A huge thanks to Loungefly for the gift; I'm thrilled to be able to share this with you in more detail.
I mean really though, this backpack actually speaks for itself. It's absolutely incredible! And the thing about Loungefly is that, even though they are a bit pricey, you know you're getting top quality in every aspect with them. The faux leather material, the hefty zippers, the appliqué details...it's all top-notch. Buzz's iconic design (essentially his chest and torso) is captured perfectly here! What I also love is that this backpack could easily be for both men and women.
Looking at the sides, you can see Buzz's "Space Ranger" icon and laser button—both of which are featured on the toy's arms in the films; such a nice touch.
Complete measurements for the backpack are 9"W x 10"H x 4.5"D. So yah, it's pretty small, but I really like the compact size. It's really the perfect size for a day at the Disney Parks to keep some small personal items in that you might need throughout the day. I'm so excited to wear it during my next trip!
As you can see, it features adjustable padded shoulder straps and a top carry handle for your convenience.
By the way, you think the outside is out of this world? Just check out what Loungefly did with the inside (of both the small front pouch and main compartment)...it's lined with a Pizza Planet Alien (or Little Green Men or "LGMs") patterned fabric! How amazing?
I also like the simple Disney·Pixar / Loungefly logo label plate on the front corner. It adds a real classy aesthetic.
