How's it going everyone?? I'm back to document another Mattel Cars 3 1:55 scale diecast release from last summer...this awesome 2-Pack featuring Ronald and Junyi! This set is part of the 2019 "Rust-eze Racing Center" sub-series and was released in Case N.
In the film, Ronald (No. 035) and Junyi (No. 057) are two rookie next-gen "trainees" seen at the Rust-eze Racing Center. Ronald is actually one of the only featured trainees with dialog (he's the "fluffy cloud" that Cruz motivates during the treadmill training session), while Junyi is just one of the background trainees and is much harder to spot. You can see them both in the screen shots above.
You most likely won't find this 2-Pack in stores at this point, but if you're still looking to add these unique characters to your Cars collection, I'll include an Amazon link down below for your convenience. Happy hunting!
