Hey Disney·Pixar Cars fans and collectors! Tonight I'm sharing a really neat new Cars 3 1:55 scale diecast release from Mattel...Wheeldell Lee! This character just hit shelves and is part of the 2020 "Doc's Racing Days" sub-series.
As shown in the screenshot above, Wheeldeel can be spotted briefly in Cars 3 during the Thomasville Speedway race flashback (when Doc is seen going up against the rookie of his day). He is a 1946 Hudson Pickup that worked as a RSN (Racing Sports Network) cameraman in the 1950's.
I love any and all retro style Cars characters, so this one was a big win for me. I look forward to sharing the rest in the "Doc's Racing Days" lineup as well; so many unique designs!
