Cars: Axle Accelerator

Axle Accelerator is seen in the original Cars and is one of the police cars that escort Mack and Mcqueen as they depart the opening race (screen shot above). There are other police cars seen in the film as well, so it's difficult to know exactly which one he is.
  

This is a 1:55 scale vehicle from Mattel, released in 2009 in the "Race O Rama" series. This character been released numerous times as well such as in the "World of Cars" line, "Lenticular Eyes" line and even the "Color Changers" collection. In addition, Axle was also released in a holiday edition Easter egg one year as well.

This is a pretty neat car and I highly recommend it for all you avid Pixar Cars collectors out there. If you haven't snagged him yet, you can purchase him on Amazon or eBay using the link below:

The exciting news today is that my wife and I are leaving for our trip to Disney World in a few hours! But don't worry, blog posts will continue while I'm on vacation.
