Here we have Mattel's latest release/version of Wingo from the original Cars...Wingo with Flames! As seen in the film (screen shot above), this character is one of the "trouble maker" tuner cars that messes with Mack by trying to put him to sleep. He was released last year as part of the 2013 "Tuners" sub-line (number 4/10).
This is a 1:55 scale diecats metal car with green, plastic, translucent "flames" coming out of the exhaust pipe to simulate the colored flames that Wingo has in the film.
Last year was the first time Wingo was released with the addition of flames, but if you missed him, he has been just recently re-released. He can currently be found in stores as part of the 2014 World of Cars line. The original 2006 Wingo (without flames) can be seen HERE in a previous post.
Boost, Snot Rod and DJ (the other three tuners from the same scene) were also released last year with flames. I'll be posting about them as well, right here in the next few days.
