Toy Story 4 Wins Best Animated Feature— Oscars 2020
Being a lifetime self-proclaimed "movie buff", watching the Oscars has been one of my favorite annual traditions ever since I was a kid. I would say I get my love of film from my dad and I have so many fond memories watching this event with him year after year, always crossing our fingers for our favorite pictures.
Tonight at the 92nd Academy Awards, I cheered as Toy Story 4 brought home the Oscar for Best Animated Feature! I've been rooting for it ever since I saw the film last summer and hoped the academy would recognize how incredibly special it is. All in all, I just wanted to give a brief yet HUGE CONGRATS to director Josh Cooley and producers Jonas Rivera and Mark Nielsen (as well as the ENTIRE Pixar/Toy Story 4 team) for the win. So well deserved.
This is Pixar's 10th Oscar win in the Best Animated Feature category, following Toy Story 3, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Brave, Inside Out and Coco.
