Hey Cars collectors! Tonight I'm taking a look at a somewhat different item to mix things up a little...the Jocko Flocko Mack Hauler from Cars 3! This was released in late 2017 and could be found throughout the beginning of 2018 (only at Walmart stores). I've had this ever since then, so I've been meaning to get this review up for two years now. This is part of Mattel's 1:55 scale diecast line.
The front cab part of the hauler was suppose to be released as a diecast "Deluxe" single in 2017 as well, but it was cancelled here in the US and was only released internationally from what I understand (seen HERE). It did end up being released in a "Derby 3-Pack" though (seen HERE), which I never ended up finding. Ultimately, the cab portion of the hauler here (which is the same as the "Deluxe" release) can be detached from the trailer—so I'm good with just this one!
As shown in the screenshot above, Mack was seen wearing this "Jocko Flocko Party Supplies" disguise at the Thunder Hollow Demolition Derby race. Such a funny design, which makes for an incredibly fun and unique release!
The back of the hauler opens with a flip-down ramp and can fit one racer inside. The cab part of the hauler is made up of both diecast metal and plastic, while the trailer is entirely plastic.
