There's still a little magic left in the world thanks to Disney·Pixar and Mattel! As part of Mattel's new 2020 PIXAR 7" scale Action Figure collection (branching off of the award winning Toy Story 4 line from last year), here we have their amazing figure range inspired by Onward! These hit shelves at Target clear back in January (see my in-store report HERE), so I'm thrilled to finally have the chance to share them in more detail here on the blog. A HUGE thank you to Mattel for sending these my way this past week in a very special package!
This series features a small, but mighty selection of characters: Ian Lightfoot (with pet dragon Blazey & wizard staff with Phoenix Gem), Barley Lightfoot (with sword for dubbing Ian a man), Wilden Lightfoot (with detachable legs and two "Pixie Dusters" sprites) and the Manticore (Disney Store/ShopDisney Exclusive)! Essentially all the main cast is here, minus Laurel Lightfoot (the mom).
Each standard character is about 6"-7" tall, can be found at Target stores and retails for $9.99. The Manticore (being more of a "Deluxe" size) stands at about 7.5" tall and can be purchased exclusively at the Disney Store for $16.99. All the figures have fantastic movie details (even down to Wilden's purple socks) and plenty of articulation to help recreate your favorite moments.
They're SO well done and well made! Check 'em all out below.

Lastly, just an FYI, there's also a Target exclusive "Manticore's Tavern Quest Pack" that includes three of these figures: Ian, Barley and the Manticore. Mind you, there are some differences (the Phoenix gem is not part of Ian's staff accessory, Barley's sword is not included and the Manticore's nails are not painted pink). It does have an incredible box design though! The Quest Pack retails for $29.99 and can be purchased in-store or Target.com HERE.
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this collection! Which figure is your favorite? Have you picked any of these up? Let me know down in the comment section below. I can highly recommend these to any fan of the film (young or old)!
